Might partake in that. You pay a tenner for a pint and burger these days so not too bad really.

Hi Michael,

I am writing to let you know how disgusted I am at the way we were treated yesterday at the stadium of light. My self, my brother in law and my father attended yesterdays event which we had been looking forward to for a while as a treat for my fathers birthday.

we paid £37.50 for the pleasure, we were enjoying ourselves if not the result when all of a sudden we were told 5 minutes to finish your drinks we are closing, this was just before 2pm, at this point my dad had just purchased a pint and had gone outside for a smoke, they wouldn't let him back in, we had been dropped off on the morning and had made arrangements to be picked up at 4pm by my wife as the event stated until 5pm, we were now left stranded outside the ground and had to pay for taxis to get my dad home to castletown and us two to ashbrooke.

Schedule according the website :

10am Doors open (entry via stadium reception) and bar open, food served

12noon kick-off and food service ends

12.45 half-time

5pm event ends

Is this really anyway to treat paying customers.

I look forward to hearing from you as we will not be attending another event like this again

Yours Sincerely

Couldn't organise a piss up in Quinn's Bar these lot. Have been told of their incompetence before by an aquaintance who has a box. Whole club is a shambles from top to bottom.

They just decided because a lot of people left after full time that it wasn’t worth staying open, twats!

Good evening C19ark73,

Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies for your experience on Sunday.

For any fan to enter the stadium our main objective is for them to leave feeling they have had value for money and hopefully having a very positive experience. On this occasion that has clearly not happened, and I will take all of the comments on board in order to prevent such things happening in future.

I will hold my hands up on the closing time, as I should have put some information that it does depend on numbers left in the bar. The hope was of course for a more positive result on the football, which would have kept the event going until 5pm. Having said that, my personal error has seriously affected your plans - which again I apologise for.

We do have a talk-in event this Thursday evening with Phil Parkinson, which I would like to offer you 6 complimentary tickets for. Hopefully this will give us an opportunity to show you a much improved experience.

If that is not something you would like to take up, I would be happy to refund you for the tickets you purchased for the live broadcast.

Please let me know which you would prefer to do, and I'd be happy to arrange.

Best Regards

Michael
