Unfortunately, some people are dying and there’s others like “and how can I make money from this?”

Funeral parlours, pharmaceutical companies, doctors and protective clothing companies don't do their work for free.

The stock market sell-off is more about not losing money, rather than making money. The money has been transferred into safer haven bond markets instead.

The big players won't be losing money, it's the plain old Joe Bloggs who has an ISA or pension fund who knows nothing more than the annual statement once a year who will lose out, again. As the financial advisor says you need to keep your money in for the long term.

A family have been evacuated from a home in Hull by medics wearing hazmat suits, sparking coronavirus fears.

A man, woman, a child and a baby were taken into two ambulances from a home in Durham Street off Holderness Road at around 11.30am on Saturday.

A neighbour says she fears that the family may have been infected by coronavirus.

The neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: "At first I thought it was a murder scene. We saw two ambulances come both with two paramedics kitted up with the full white suits and face masks and eye shields.

"Then they stopped on the door step of the house and wouldn't let them out before putting masks on all the family and then they put two in one ambulance and the other two in the other.

"It's very scary that coronavirus could be on my door step. My eldest was crying because she was concerned for the small children and I think shes little scared of catching it.

"I explained you can't catch it like that."

The Department of Health and Social Care would not comment on the case.

On Saturday afternoon, the department confirmed that three more patients from England have tested positive for coronavirus.

@Sir Cheshire Ben when I watch the news I see the public health people spraying the area with a mist to cleanse the area, what is this mist?

Is it an effective exercise or just a PR stunt?

Not sure for definite but probably something like Viraclean or a Microgen, MD125 maybe. It may even just be 70% IMS.

They kill off most bacteria or viruses but whether they’ll work against this new strain of Corona Virus is questionable. It’s definitely not a futile exercise & cleaning any known infected area can only be positive.

Saw a comment from a family member.

They had been on holiday, one of them felt unwell upon returning so phoned 111. They kept themselves indoors until they came to collect them. Family were drooling food on the doorstep so there was no contact with anybody else.
My wife saw that too, and pretty easy from there to figure out names etc. Guessing you didn't mean drooling ;)

Thanks mate

I don't think a single post in this thread is a proper haiku.

Whoever rates Corona beer as a decent drink probably already have the virus and are hallucinating.

It’s **** ...
