Very clear he won't play for us again.
And he's made the bench a few times since his 2nd coming.
Ralph clearly does not trust him.
The kid as talent, but something is badly missing.
When? I just had a look and he wasnt on the bench for Liverpool, Burnley or either spurs match and he wasn't in training before that.

Ralph has brought up his progress several times without being asked and has said that he wants Valery and KWP to compete for the starting spot.

Pretty clear Valery is in his thoughts imo.

It sounds like KWP is the fitter of the two currently and if he plays well than it will be hard for Valery to get gametime but I dont think you can put that on Ralph or Valery.

Time to make a decision on him this Summer, he's either our back up full back or he isn't. If not he needs loaning out.

Feels a little similar to the Gallagher situation. We were in desperate need for a CF when he was left out and then loaned. Same for RB now. Its just so strange, bar a couple of games he looked thoroughly decent. I think that's why I'm so tough on him. I really thought he was to be the break out player.

Valery had a viral infection, didn't he? It can take a long time to recover from that....and exercise can sometimes exacerbate symptoms. I see nothing sinister about his prolonged absence....his problem is that things move on and now he has to prove himself and hope for a chance. Doesn't mean he is suddenly useless and will never be considered by Ralph again.

Soon we'll be numerically safe so some rotation in a number of positions possible/probable? Just a thought as I'm waking up from a nap.

Nothing sinister? Sure you're on the right forum? This is the official forum of Paranoids Anonymous, didn't you know?

In actual fact, a bloke at the Villa game told me that his mate knows a bloke who has a brother who went to school with one of the tea ladies and she said Valery is going to be out on his ear come summer. So there you go. Now we just need The Sun to run with the story and we'll know it's bollocks, but it won't stop the conspiracy theorists.

Add into that that we're playing on Saturday February 29 (dramatic music for effect) and there we have it .. well something.

Yeah, I had high expectations for him.

Will be interesting to see if he makes an appearance this season; just as it will be interesting to see if Che Adams scores a goal this season. I’m not writing either of them off yet.

Just been over to KUMB to see what the mood is for the match. Being in and around the bottom three for a few weeks has knocked the arrogance out of them which is nice to see. They obviously see us as an opportunity to get some points which is fair enough for a homegame, but they do give us a bit of credit for our away performances. It's funny that when fans are having a **** time they become more realistic and a bit more........well, likeable. Never thought I'd be saying that about the 'ammers. Still hope we stuff em, but I can't see it unfortunately. Wish Redmond was available for this one.

They're saying Djenepo is out, due to a family bereavement. Poor fella if true. Is this confirmed?
