I've said this before on this. People pay no attention.

We, the fans, have invented deadlines for this deal. We are telling ourselves it HAS to be done by today at exactly 20:25 or it's off. Then we rage uncontrollably on here, then a single Twitter exchange takes place and we set ourselves a new deadline.

Nothing official has been said at ALL. I would say at Newcastle only Ashley knows everything, Charnley knows a bit. Not a single leak is gonna come from the club.

The leak likely came from PCP, as per, and as far as we know it's trucking a long as expected.

Investing in a foreign country is firstly massive, especially considering the Saudi reputation, secondly committing to the long term purchase of a club in a major UK city is even more serious. This is a massive commitment they're getting themselves in for, they will have MPs watching, the PL, UEFA, even the government. A massive part of the commons hates Saudi Arabia.

This is an intensely complex arrangement, it will take time.

If I were going to buy a premier league club, I would want to know it was a premier league club before I parted with cash.

If we get to 40 points and it isn't announced, then I would suspect that it is off.

might never happen if bruce keeps trying the things that dont work

Conflicting stuff (souce: Twitter, sorry) - claims that the WSJ story was a bit of 2+2 = 47, linking stuff with DiBello/Staveley, and that the Saudi fund has about £9m (for sports investment). Reubens are keen but only at around 10% (£35m) and Staveley doesn't even have £35m. However, there's a suspicion that the Saudi stuff is a bit of a smokescreen that Ashley is trying to use to his advantage in more advanced talks with the likes of GACP/Kenyon.

Silence is not a bad thing.

We will probs get relegated and find out the saudis were buying if we stayed up... relegated on goal difference maybe..

Doesn't matter what division we play in, Ashley has murdered the club.

Is it wrong to say I don't give a **** if we're relegated?
