Youre really stretching the word lucky, considering weve been in the last 2 cl finals in a row. That doesnt really work for most people.

Btw we ripped barca apart in BOTH legs last year. Dont let the 3 nil loss in the 1st leg fool you or add to your agenda that everything we get is "luck" or "var" or "dodgy refs" or whatever it is this week.

Should we beat athletico, i am more than confident well be playing our 3rd cl final in a row this year.

That would be some luck eh? 3 in a row?

Jokers<laugh>
Go on then, I'll humour you. My post acknowledged that you are the best team in England. And by some distance. I am not quite sure that you are the best team on the planet, as I don't yet know how you stack up to the Spanish teams (a point you echo with the highlighted bit from your post). You cannot be considered the best team in England last year cause City beat you to the title (although it may be tarnished if the charge against them stands) and if you were a Barca supporter you'd have been furious to let a 3-0 lead slip - deserved or not. Like you I even said if you get past Madrid then the case becomes stronger.

If you want the VAR stuff included, I haven't ventured an opinion ont that, so just remember fans of a club are not one homogenous group. My point about last year is that you didn't dominate the competition like other winners have, and there were points where you could have gone out. Barca had opportunities put the second leg to bed.

It's almost like you didn't read my post and had a prepared response ready?
You said we got lucky in the cl last year.

What about the year before?

What will you say if we get to the final again this year?

Lucky 3 years in a row? <laugh>

Kbro makes sense

Come on Bobby - I expected better than that from you (not so much Sucky). Did this sentence not register with you either? Nothing lucky about their PL form this year (and last) and if they can handle the Spanish teams in the CL this year, then you cannot deny them best on Planet label.

You misinterpreted mate. Im calling sucky rattled.

Re read what i wrote lol

My issue wasnt with us being the best team in england or the planet, both are debatable, i also never mentioned either btw.

My issue is with you saying a team who has been to the last 2 cl finals has got there through "luck"

Its a ridiculous statement.

You don't normally spend a fossie like essay defending statements on the spuds board. These lucky comments hitting the mark matey? <whistle>

Yes I'm all dehydrated now.

There's no agenda here, other than to try and redress some of the lack of debate we get in the media. If there's any real agenda, it's those who feel that Liverpool are entitled to win things, and how the officials help that along.
