Maguire was lucky.
The only difference with Son is that Son seemed to leave his foot in a little longer, which made it less likely any official would have any doubt.

1-1 now. Damn.

Come on VAR ,- foul at the near post.

With VAR now in place is there still retrospective action for red cards that were missed? I doubt that Maguire will be charged as he is a current England international

From the BBC:

"A bit more info to give you on the decision not to send Harry Maguire off for what appeared to be a kick out at Michy Batshuayi.

The Premier League says the VAR officials reviewed the incident but did not deem it to be violent conduct, so no red card.

Son Heung-min was dismissed for a similar incident when Tottenham played Chelsea in December - a match also officiated by referee Anthony Taylor - but both are classed as subjective decisions, and this time VAR Chris Kavanagh decided in Maguire's favour."

PGMOL, go **** yourselves.

Fred pushes Azpilicueta into Shaw. Goal disallowed by VAR for the push on Shaw....
Debatable but again a decision made by people who appear to have never played the game... Or working to a different agenda...
Azpilucueta pushed Shaw with two hands whatever the contact from Fred.
He didn't just collide with Shaw.
A push with two outstretched hands is a foul!

Fernandes hits the post!
