Interesting comments on here, especially Methven's opinion of us lot.

An article in the Times from a month ago perhaps gives a clue: “Charlie Methven, an Eton-educated PR executive who stands to make millions from his 6 per cent stake in the club if the chairman Stewart Donald can find a buyer, sparked fury at a fans’ meeting in November when he made disparaging remarks”. Those remarks were that “people in the North East lack good business sense compared with southerners”."

I very rarely go on there now since i found this site, although i dont moan about it, i dont dislike the place just prefer it on here.
There are some canny posters on there.

That's because there's no such thing.
I posted that McGeady would be going weeks before it happened.
It wasn't verified because it was ITK.
Once something is verified it ceases to be ITK.
It’s frustrating separating the wheat from the chaff with all this inside info stuff.
Smug on here seems as good as anything but even then much like his mcgeady stuff it’s nothing that hasn’t already been reported first before he can add to it.
Not knocking mind as it’s probably as good as we’ll get.
People are just keeping it ticking over to be fair, I don't think there's going to be anything ITK until its resolved. From what very little I know (I'm not ITK at all but have had a couple of messages from people I'd trust) it sounds like we're at something of an impasse. Donald wants x, FPP don't think it's worth x. Donald is in no rush to lower his price, he can afford us for now so he might as well hang on, especially now we're on a good run, if he can get us up he'll get more from FPP or from someone else if FPP don't bite. He might even think the new Netflix series might give us a bit more publicity and maybe attract someone.
FPP aren't in any rush to bid more because the loan already means they're pretty much in control of things, no one can come and snatch the club from under their nose whilst it's in play. They know eventually if we're in league one Donald will have to drop his price because he can't afford to keep us indefinitely. They know the price would be higher in the championship but they'd probably be happier with that as there'd be less risk and we'd only be one good season away from the PL money tree.
Basically unless anyone else comes in at the price Donald wants, which seems unlikely, it suits both sides to wait it out, which means there's probably going to be nowt massively on topic to talk about for a bit

I heard they don't look good in the new Netflix and possibly some episodes dropped, hence the recent speed up in trying to offload the club
