sheff united are right in the mix for 4th... whether I like the bloke or not its a great story and a terrific achievement.
Publically slammed him for the injury in Richie. Bad challenge or not, they happen but to hit out at a young lad, early in his career and create the platform for others, Klopp and the Liverpool fanboys included, to create social media campaigns against the lad. Not appropriate in my view.
thats because you support leicester. it wasnt his first bad tackle... you cant just say never mind every time.
In the days of mindless internet trolls and specifically racism within the game, someone with Bruce’s experience should know better than to fuel that in public. By all means walk into the Leicester changing room and have a go at him or deal with it between the clubs to make it aware. I’m saying calling out a young, Asian player in public is not a good move as shown by the hate campaigns that followed. That’s not justifying the challenge or saying nothing should be done, just the public manner that’s all
I’ve basically just cited known problems in the game so is that the best you have? Anyway it’s harder not to injury Newcastle players than it is to do so, so shouldn’t be a benchmark to slate a player. Ffs you had 4 go off injured inside 48 minutes on New Year’s Day with our lads strolling about not touching them!
sorry but his skin colour has zero relevance to whether he should be criticised for breaking a players ankle.
Not seen or know of what's happened. But having known Brucie from his early playing days, if you saw the stick he used to give Mel Sage... it would defo of had nothing to do with the colour of his skin, and anyone that perceives it that way is an idiot....not saying you're an indiot btw.
I’m not saying that about Bruce mate, saying that he’s lashed out in defence of his player which gets jumped on by online trolls etc. It’s a society problem that you can’t say things without people creating online hate campaigns but it’s a sign of the times. I’m not saying Bruce said what he did for that reason
Look you’re not getting my points so never mind But in that 5-0 game Hayden put in a potential career ender on Praet. Difference being he was sent off but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t make a difference to the welfare of the player. Other difference is that manager/player/fans didn’t air any grievances publicly
hayden got sent off... if he didnt, broke his ankle, lost the game and player for months rest assured there would be complaint... they all do it mate. lets keep it fair. the boy had one a week before , so something needed saying.
A week before? He committed a bad one a few months before in the u21 euros which he was sent off for. You’re probably right that it’d be the same if the other way round but my point is I’d hope not and that I hope we’d be more gracious and keep it behind closed doors. That’s been my only point all along. I’m sure injuring the player upset Hamza and having a meeting behind closed door with the managers even further so. I don’t like Bruce because he targeted him in public that’s all. I never said he shouldn’t be punished or that what he did was right
i dont like bruce because he managed sunderland , but he's doing well and I feel he was right to say what he did. we will have to agree to disagree. i still think wilders an arsehole, so I understand your stance
Not sure Bruce is responsible for a bunch of cretinous ****wits kicking up a ****storm on social media. If anyone - other than the ****wits themselves - should share some of the responsibility, it’s the social media platforms. Yeah, that’ll happen.
Senile old kunt has become a spelling policeman now Shouldn't you be out on graffiti watch with your clipboard
