Leaving aside any personal opinions on Trump, it’s disturbing that every Democrat votes him guilty and (all but one?) Republican votes him
Innocent. That’s a sign of a failed process.
It's the American Brexit, Trump did nothing that all American politicians don't do, so they split down party lines apart from the one Republican who wants Trumps job.

Except it wasn’t about a question like leaving the EU. It was whether he had committed an offence, a legal question, but the split almost 100% on party lines. Which means plenty of them are putting politics before truth. Hey ho, not a surprise I guess.

Yes but the legal question was a hatchet job, every MP, Senate etc uses there position for their own benefit, claiming expenses for suspect thing etc, Trump withheld money to find out what had gone on,not to tell lies or fabricate evidence etc, to find out the truth.
