tbh id rather watch prem football every week than have cup runs. I understand the notion, but we simply are nowhere near good enough to win the cup.

i think people still live on some form of hope, but I gave up on hope a decade ago.

just something to fill an hr or 2 on a weekend.

we are not nearly safe... 9 points to to go.

9pts needed from 39 available, we should be able to do that AND have a crack at the cup.
If we get relegated at the expense of trying in another competition then so be it, I'm fed up with being in the premier league for the sake of just existing in it

im not though i just see us as a small club.. if football was a russian doll we would be the smallest doll youve ever seen.

we have potential, but so do many clubs.

people dont like the truth , but i accept it rather than bullshitting myself.

I understand that political prisoners in China no longer get the water drip onto the forehead torture. It has been replaced with being forced, clockwork orange style, to watch Rafa's Newcastle games for 12 hours a day. On their birthday, they get to watch a Bruce victory as a treat.
