He is a defensive midfielder, decent but doesn't uproot any trees. According to creepy Cawley one more to come in. Must be a permanent and a forward.
I’m genuinely surprised at what ESI are doing. Yet Matt Southall seems to think he’s John Paul Getty on Twitter. Deluded.
I imagine us keeping Taylor and bringing in a further two signings this will pacify the natives. However, the transfer dealings so far do not augur well for the future. They have a strange way of boosting this squad to avoid relegation, and if we do go down this transfer window will be aimed at Southall and he will not be very popular.
Parent Club - Manchester City. Been on loan at QPR since August. QPR used 20 year old Smith 8 times in the league since he signed for them on loan in the summer. He started two games (and was subbed in both) and came on as a substitute in 6 games. The most match time he had on the pitch for QPR was an hour, back in August. Smith played most recently in 3 games during the Christmas period. I assume he was a substitute in all of those games, because did not play more than 24 minutes in any one game. His last outing was on January 1st. Smith was an unused substitute in 9 other QPR games. So he's a bit of an unknown quantity. Primarily a defensive midfielder, but apparently can play further forward in midfield, or as a left-back or right-back.
Not a marquee signing BUT he has played for Wales so will be familiar with Lockyer and Williams !!! Bowyer might get more.out of him than QPR could. ESI still spent.zero money though!!!
Matt Smith from Man City, on loan from QPR. The fella has only played 8 games this season, so good he cannot get a game at this level.
Has played for Wales though - QPR fans didn't think he was quite ready for this league though - so he has a point to prove. Did I mishear Southwell in his infamous "we own lock, stock and barrell" interview as I'm sure he said you would be.signing 3 perm and maybe 1 loan. One loans to replace Gallagher the Man Citeh kid - Is there still 3 perms to come???
The only perm Charlton fans will see tonight is if they go to a hairdressers. This obviously excludes Mr ban Gerwen
We had a significant sell on fee with Fosu… so it looks like we will make a profit this transfer window.
