I’d be happy with Maddison TBH, don’t know much about him, but he can score, so probably, like Bowen deserves the step up. Peterborough fans probably saying the same as us about West Ham & Bowen playing us next season!

If we won deadline day a few years ago when we had signed Long and Jelavic. How do you describe this deadline day?
Just inevitable. That is all, it hurts no more than it would when Bowen had gone in the summer, season is pretty much over we'd blown the playoffs with our last 3 games, and who knows Maddison, Samuelson or Wilks could turn out to be a top player too. We go again.

I will say this though, he's too good for West Ham, and if he's back in the Championship next year it'll be an absolute crying shame. (esp when he smashes about 4 past Long)

Would have been nice to wait until summer tho, and at least try cement a top 10 finish .. can only see us falling like a stone now, finishing 18th/19th in front of 8k if lucky

Good luck to Bowen , I do find it weird how he has had such a **** choice of clubs , where you look at where Maguire and Robertson ended up . He has been more consistent and produced more at this level then both them 2 , hope it works out for him tho

I guess both of them were reasonably Prem proven, whereas Jarrod isn't.

Both Robertson and Maguire had good final seasons in the Prem under Phelan/Silva - for Bowen it would be a step up - as yet unproven at that level

Does seem strange that his choosing West Ham over palace, all I can think is they've offer him big money and a long contract with no relegation clause in it.
