Oh **** me rigid. Watched the match on a (good) stream, but just watching Sky highlights. Co-commentator says the pen is 'soft': what? He took his ****ing knee. Jerk.

Statistics: It was 124 (One hundred and twenty four years) ago the last time we beat every league opponent at least once in a season. We achieved that yesterday by beating West Ham<applause>.

Really happy for Salah. Was back to his best yesterday, among others.

But VVD - what a defender. I think his performances are being taken for granted this season because he delivers a minimum 8 or 9 out of 10 every single game. He and Gomez are the perfect partnership.

When he refuses to go to ground and just shows you away from goal is his best attribute. This if you haven't noticed all other defenders are copying. How we defend is an art and very interesting. We even let you run at goal but close all passing lanes whilst giving you a small angle to shoot at the best keeper in the galaxy. It is not a coincidence teams are missing chances perceived as easy.

So just watched highlights and read through this thread...did Ox play well?....ye or no?

Alisson...what a magnificent man. Super human.

Ox wasn’t great to be fair but the guy at least puts in a shift defensively. He’s a monster off the ball.

Bar a couple of loose balls, Fabinho looked a lot sharper which was encouraging. And Naby looked pretty sharp as well.

Beat Soton, give the players 2 weeks rest, let them get fully fit and sharp, and let’s wrap this up ASAP.

Enjoyed the game last night. First time I’ve seen them this season and totally dominated.......you don’t get a sense of they play entirely on TV, it’s so impressive. A couple of sloppy mistakes that Alisson dealt with (he really wants that golden glove!).....West Ham just sat back....I was in with Hammers fans and quite a few kicked off the game happy to lose 2-0 but not 3-0 as the latter would have dropped them into the bottom 3. Found that weird but each to their own I guess. Onwards and Upwards!

Liverpool have won their last 15 Premier League games - only the fourth occasion of a team winning 15+ consecutive English top-flight games (Manchester City 18 in December 2017, Liverpool 17 in October 2019 and City 15 in August 2019).

Thought Joe stood out yesterday. Trent played like hyper child without his Ritalin, tbh.

VVD seems to be saying 'Go on, have a shot from there, 'cause you won't beat him, but you're not getting any closer'. Occasionally, by the law of averages, somebody will beat him with a worldie shot, but playing to percentages, it's an overall sound tactic.
