Why can't they ever just say what a good player someone is without comparing them to others. They're always either better than the best players in the same position or they're the next Messi etc.
He's also ****ing deluded.Andy Gray is a ****ing arsehole...

Jack Grealish is a better player than Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum, Phil Foden and Mason Mount, says former Aston Villa striker Andy Gray, with Liverpool told they should be interested.

Wonder why.........?The Reds are one of few leading Premier League sides not to have been linked with the Villans playmaker.
Liverpool are not understood to be interested in signing Aston Villa star Jack Grealish this January.
The Reds have been linked with the attacking-midfielder in recent weeks following the 24-year-old’s fine run of form.
Despite Villa’s inconsistent form leaving them in the relegation zone, Grealish has stood out for the Midlands club due to his trademark daring runs and his eye for goal.
The former England and Republic of Ireland youth international has notched up eight goals this season in all competitions from central-midfield.
However, the Liverpool Echo claim that the Reds do not have him on their radar as a potential signing.
Its journalism at its sh!ttest. Someone said he would walk into our team, so someone writes an article that we are interested, just so they can write an article that we are not interested.
Back to Villa?Crystal Palace are ready to offload to Benteke .

Don't be so sure. He signed Benayoun and Torres from us for Chelsea. Not with Ancelotti in charge
I've said before - it's an insult to real journalism to put most sports hacks in the same category. Apart from a handful of decent ones they just write any old drivel to fill up space.3 stories on the back of **** all, being a sports journalist must be the easiest job of all time.

There are worse creatures out there of course, there's the moral bankrupts who write inflammatory and divisive articles for the S*n and the Mail and other anti-social rags.
They don't deserve association with people who risk their lives reporting on war zones, or risk their freedom and livelihood shining a light into the murky recesses of corporate and political corruption.
I rarely read newspapers (hard copy or online versions) these days because the standard is so abysmal. I probably get most exposure from foolishly clicking on Dribs' seemingly endless supply of links.![]()

I blame the yanks![]()
Torres was well in decline hence the comparison. He signed a rag tag collection of players for Chelsea (David Luiz in his prime stands out) most of which have disappeared. Maybe they weren't his choices and maybe the same will happen at Everton who have a dof involved in identifying prospects. They were both quality tbf (although Torres had started to decline)
