How much does your music mind swing, depending on mood?

Rarely does music reflect my mood anymore, it used to many years ago when I was in my youth. I think MH eventually changes that state of mind, or did for me. Probably because you learn that certain emotions can be harmful (bit deep), as a sufferer. I tend to use music now as more of a postive aspect, one of knowledge, how was it composed, what's the story behind it, and what inspired it, ie copy of something previously. The positive energy that it can give you, particular if you can replicate it artistically or even your own twist on it, which is what covers do.

Now this could take the thread in a whole new direction, but i think we all suffer one way or another.
