The people I've discussed it with think It'll be good for the City. A couple of them are STH's at Liverpool too.
The rest of it not? The council here is pumping millions in building a hockey complex. Does anyone know anyone that plays hockey? Whilst our local football team doesn’t have a ground.
It’s a piece written by a bitter Kopite and posted by another one.... The Bramley Moore Dock is where the stadium will be built which forms part of the Liverpool Waters development of the North Dock area (north of the Liver building - that Moshiri now owns - if you know the area) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_Waters https://liverpoolwaters.co.uk/ There’s nothing to currently link Moshiri or the club to the rest of the development though. As for public acceptance there’s been two lengthy consultations carried out by the club before the detailed planning was submitted, and it was overwhelmingly positive.
Can’t imagine it would be anything but positive. I didn’t wonder up that far past the liver building when I went up a few years ago. Was going to meet one of the lads off the pool board for a pint and the **** bottled it. I live 30 miles south of Birmingham and the investment in the city has been immense, huge swathes of utter **** areas have been transformed. Any development next to water is always a winner. Look at Portsmouth for an example. The investment in the old docks down there have transformed it from a **** hole where you felt unsafe to a swanky area of nice flats, bars and restaurants.
The #official documents don't say the pier will be reserved for Usmanov's yacht either but everyone can see it coming
Sorted tickets for our trip to Anfield today. Be a good ground to tick off but not sure how much fun the actual football is going to be.
I meant that your last paragraph is the reason for Astro’s butthurt. He’s never been to Liverpool so has no reason to prattle on about the council pumping money into anything to do with Everton.
The way we were going under Poch, that’s exactly where we were heading. I don’t see how Mourinho can be considered any more of a gamble than any other appointment that Levy might have considered. Indeed, I think it’s better than I would have expected. The question isn’t about Mourinho; it’s about whether or not Levy will match Mourinho’s ambition. On that, I have my doubts.
Levy couldn't match Poch's ambition mate, so there is no ****ing way he's going to match Maureen's budget demands.
Man Utd are still a smaller club than Everton, and Man City are still a smaller club than Villa #official
There's already a car full of us mate. Don't think I'd take a ****ing Scouser in the away end anyway tbh
Not really. What am i supposed to say, 'sorry mate you can't come now I'm taking a Liverpool fan instead'
