Must have something in my eye...

Firstly, Happy New Year to one and all. What a start to the NY getting one over on the Wendies. After hearing the story about power gate & Car park gate, to get the win over them gives added satisfaction. I didn't get to see the game as we were away for the day, but it sounds like a similar performance to the QPR one, a good tactical plan well executed. When you hear the Dramas stuffed Cardiff 6-1 who had beaten the Wendies the game before, it shows what a good job the team did at Loftus Road. Good to hear both Pennington and Honeyman had good games, and what a good finish by Jarrod.

It will be interesting to see what sort of team he puts out against Rotherham, it would be nice to also go on a good cup run.

All I've got to say after that win is my dry January didn't last long, I did have good intentions though. Into Rotherham at the weekend and even though I am going I hope he tests a few even though e

He might not be everyone’s cup o tea but I love little honeyman’s attitude, great little interview. I personally think he looks a little heavy footed as he runs but you cannot fault his drive and commitment, every team needs those type of players. Great little ball for the goal.... all you can ask is for your players to give 100% apologies for the over use of the word little.....no idea why...

Had the pleasure of chatting to him at a meet the players event for the Southern Supporters before the Fulham game and he's a really friendly lad and talks very well about the game. Delighted he has made his mark now - that little run into the box for the goal is something we haven't seen enough from our midfielders this season.

Technically, I blew my Dry January at a couple of seconds after midnight on the 1st. But I'm not going to count that.

Totally agree.....

I'd almost forgotten how sublime Barmby's second goal was in the 2-4 game at Hillsborough.
I took the skin off my right knuckles on the underside of the upper tier celebrating Keane's pen!!
