What has qualifying from the CL groups got to do with it? Most of the early groups have 2 guaranteed qualifiers, occasionally there is a hiccup.
Plus all 4 league cup semi finalists are PL teams (last year even Burton Albion got a semi) Everyone seems to be doing great, except when they have to play us... the Champions League winners, Super Cup winners, and World Cup winners...
I think it's more likely that Mike Riley collapses under the pressure, admits PGMOL are bent as ****, and we're retroactively awarded at least two other Premier Leagues with Man City and Man Utd demoted
Forget pretend ref faults, do you think it's possible your team could collapse like every other team has at some point?
About as likely as Haaland didn't snub you for Dortmund, and your placelings in the media aren't furiously pedalling their sugar-daddy's line about his agent asking too much.
I would say the PL being cancelled because of a world war is more likely than Liverpool finishing outside the top four next season
Unlike Anthony Taylor and Mark Atkinson - when it financially suits them. Btw, do think they still get paid their backhanders even when VAR overturns Sheik Mansour's the on-field ref's decision?
Do the refs work for just any team that's better than Liverpool or is it just City and United when they are doing well? How much did Leicester, Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea pay them.
I think Leicester, Blackburn and Arsenal snuck in when Uniturd, then Chelsea, then latterly City had lean financial years when it came to bung reserves.
