I doubt they would make a change in the next few days, simply because their next game is right around the corner. But if they lose at home to Bmouth on NYD - which is now a huge match for both sides - then I wouldn't expect him to still be in a job come Jan 2nd.
Bmouth, Villa, Newcastle and West Ham lose. Norwich draw. Ye, Brighton and Watford won. But with us going three games unbeaten, I'll take that collection of results. And even better if Burnley slip up too. I'm ignoring Everton because I just don't see them in the relegation battle.
Somewhere else where problems run far deeper too. Be interesting to see who they get in. I'd laugh if it was Moyes.
Unless they have someone lined up (which they might well do), I find the timing odd. A caretaker manager for the Bmouth game will have no time to implement something different, so would no doubt play a similar type team and formation. In which case why not just give MP one final chance, to see if he can turn it around. And if not, you then have the FA Cup break to find someone else.
I had heard via someone reliable that Chris Hughton has been taking in a lot of West Ham games lately. No idea if there's anything more to it, but he's definitely been around.
Bugger, I was hoping he'd hang around dragging them down. Be nice to see the OS ground in the Champ'.
David Moyes and Tony Pulis are the leading contenders to take over at West Ham after Manuel Pellegrini was sacked. (Sunday Telegraph)
Dam!, we could have had him - sacked that is, IF we’d played anything like we’re capable of in the first 70mins of the WH game
