It'll help if we're getting rid of salaries for Henriksen and Milinkovic though.Loans still cost money, though, you usually have to pay a fee to take players from other clubs on loan. It's usually only youth or work experience loans that are free.

Where does he fit in then? small forward isn’t he?Jack Marriott could be on the move to Hull in January.
@TheAthleticUK understands there's been no dialogue between the clubs but Hull are keen on him and feeling is mutual.
Any deal would be loan.
Marriott frustrated with lack of minutes.

Saw him in the play-offs last May, a nippy number ten type player. We could do with a specialist in there.Where does he fit in then? small forward isn’t he?
He’s not tall (5’8”), but I don’t really know anything about the way he plays.
He reminded me of Matty Fryatt in the way he is in and around the box. One of those players always in the right place.
I'd still like to see us have a go for Marcus Maddison at Peterborough, though.
Thats the lad I mentioned earlier that Derby are after. £2.5 million release clause. He reminded me of Matty Fryatt in the way he is in and around the box. One of those players always in the right place.

Good call.
Has Marriott been injured or simply out of favour?

DisagreeImo we will take him on loan and play him when needed, so we can then send KLP out on loan lower down the league's to get proper game time rather then have him getting odd minutes here and there once all forwards are fit

I think Cocu prefers Waghorn and Martin, both have made more appearances than Marriott has.
Yeah, if we sell Bowen, KLP seems like a straight replacement. He may be inexperienced, but you've got to start somewhere.Disagree

The thing is though, the game time he is getting is doing him the world of good; he's only 18/19 and he knows he isn't going to dislodge the first team strikers at this stage. A start in the Rotherham game, against a team that were in the Championship last season, would be perfect.
Dropping down a division and playing much more would do him much more good then the odd few mins, once we have the other 2 back from injury and possibly another new forward to add in the mix, realistically how much game time will he get? At his age, with his potential and at his stage of development, a loan to a L1 team and playing more games and for longer periods in those games would be best for him
I think having seen him play a few cameo roles he’s good enough to play in the Championship and he’d be better off continuing his development with us.
