I just don't like them. Similar in most ways to a carrot, bar colour and taste.
Carrots are orange and are delicious whichever way you cook them.
Parsnips are neither.
they were only boiled for 4/5mins ffs, then roasted in oil and butter.I can't say I've ever thought to boil them tbf.

tags don't work mate....well not the ones at the bottom of the page[HASHTAG]#st anally raped by somali parsnip[/HASHTAG]
I started typing a tag for parsnipgate and that came up.![]()
**** them, i took your tip, boiled 4/5 mins, then roasted. worked a treat mate.I feel the humble parsnip is getting a disproportionate amount of stick when that evil little bastard, the sprout is allowed to exist on the same plate!
Does anyone on here actually like sprouts?
I do. I boil them for 5 minutes and then roast them until they’ve dissolved into mush.I feel the humble parsnip is getting a disproportionate amount of stick when that evil little bastard, the sprout is allowed to exist on the same plate!

Doesn't matter how they are cooked, they still taste ****e.Sprouts I like, but they have to be cooked through and soft.
As a person who works in a chill depot, the amount off carrots, sprouts, brocolli, parsnips, swedes gone out the last few days is extreme...Doesn't matter how they are cooked, they still taste ****e.
Just think, that little bastard sprout on your plate is taking up the space of a pig in blanket. A pig in blanket or a sprout? No ****in competition.
