I just don't like them. Similar in most ways to a carrot, bar colour and taste.

Carrots are orange and are delicious whichever way you cook them.

Parsnips are neither.

I couldn't eat them every time I have a roast but I enjoy them a few times a year.

I feel the humble parsnip is getting a disproportionate amount of stick when that evil little bastard, the sprout is allowed to exist on the same plate!

Does anyone on here actually like sprouts?

**** them, i took your tip, boiled 4/5 mins, then roasted. worked a treat mate.

Sprouts I like, but they have to be cooked through and soft.
Doesn't matter how they are cooked, they still taste ****e.
Just think, that little bastard sprout on your plate is taking up the space of a pig in blanket. A pig in blanket or a sprout? No ****in competition.

As a person who works in a chill depot, the amount off carrots, sprouts, brocolli, parsnips, swedes gone out the last few days is extreme...
