Smoking cigars in your office?! Actually they should have done more to get rid of racists in the 70’s, but left smoking in your own office as a nice retro activity ... oh and drinking in it too
Maybe. Could even be hypocrisy as well. Though how does racism come into planting a flag of a Turkish club into the turf at the stadium of another club?
I'm rather partial to drinking in my office, surrounded by the pungent fug of a cigar. It is just a little bit bigger than Grandpa Potts office, but unlike his, mine has not flown over Vulgaria. Yet ...
The spelling police still rain (reign ?) supreme . Provocative action - as are racist chants. In this case, Souness is active in dialogue on both. Hard to fathom out ?
The mother-in-law was trying to build a wall in the garden. Just a low wall, with some nice Yorkstone. So because I actually like the mother-in-law I set about helping. I'm building it for Adrian(her husband) she said. He likes a wall. That's nice I said, it's Adrian's wall then. Damn I'm funny

Should never happen, there's no excuse or justification for it at all, let's start getting extremely heavy on people and clubs... law should be changed immediately for anyone found to be doing it has an instant 5yr prison sentence and a huge 5figure fine. On top of that clubs should be fined the full amount if that seasons prize money from the premier League/EFL and docked 25pts.
Oh dear I seem to have been moderated so I'll say it again in more anodyne baby talk https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50893279 We had this stand off in the mid 80s. Ploo sa chonge...
Meanwhile attack someone with a hammer or knife, and as happened recently, be spared jail. Attack a copper and, unless you are football fan, and get a fine. Is your suggestion an over reaction or made with tongue firmly in cheek?
No not at all, I think those things you mention should be felt with just as firmly but as a while we are way to soft when it comes to justice for most crimes everyone(unless it's speeding and then your really in for it) has a sob story these days as to why they did it etc... And judges seem to buy it all the time.
Would be good to see some pundit walk out in disgust and forfeit their fee, or the club whose fans have transgressed be banned from live coverage of their home games and lose millions. It's always's someone else's fault isn't it? If in doubt, punch down.
