A lot of talk from Liberals, liberals and Tory wets that this may now mean a soft Brexit.

Deluded. Totally deluded like the initial Remain campaign.

I think it gives Johnson a total mandate for whatever Brexit he/they want.

And on anything. Bye bye NHS as we know and public services

But they will vote the same next time, because that is what the media will tell them to do.

So, why have people year after year voted Labour in Hull? Of course if Jezza and McDonnell were in there would only be one paper, Pravda, and a government controlled internet.

Labour is organised in Hull. It has people on the ground. Other parties, in GE terms, do not.

So, apart from national issues turning voters in Hull without direct contact, Labour has greater access.

Labour played right into the tories hands too. Particularly coming up to election time and they were pulling ideas fresh out of their arse every day. Their manifesto was too big, too ambitious, too full of holes. It just poured petrol on the flames of the old adage about them bankrupting the country and all its inhabitants and played right into the enemies hands. They also went and repeated Cameron’s mistake of underestimating brexit. Didn’t help that Corbyn was changing his mind every week that he or the Labour Party were this or that or the other.
