I feel like I need to re-evaluate my views.

How can I be this wrong?
I really feel like Corbyn is the lesser of two evils, by far.

I really feel like brexit is mental

How can I be so polar opposite compared to the majority?

I am thinking the same. I think I am a reasonable, normal, level headed person. Got it so wrong.

I just had a look at Nicola Sturgeon’s Twitter feed. The amount of English people wanting to move north is astonishing!

You aren't the polar opposite of the majority on Brexit, but Johnson/Farage understood that they didn't need to get the majority of votes to get a crushing majority of seats, so long as they didn't split the vote between them. Remain vote really had nowhere to coalesce, so the Brexiteers win.

I woke up for a pee , looked on here , looked at the BBC .

I honestly feel sick .

I honestly pity the younger generation .

Lol I agree.

My 29 (nearly 30) year old daughter just text from the US and said "See Boris is in, you are screwed, looks like you are coming here"

The worrying thing I replied is that I am really not so sure what is worse. A man in power named after a US word for a dick or a man in power named after a UK name for a fart.

I remember back in 1997 my elder 2 kids, born in 1980 and 1981, couldn’t believe they no longer lived under the Tories, as they had for their whole lives.

What goes around, etc. We will survive this, but there will be a lot of casualties.

To be fair I was similar.

Born 1969, and able to vote from 1987. Never knew anything really other than Tory rule until 1997...aged 28. That is 100% where my political views come from, also hampered by the fact that my mother met Mrs Thatcher in 1980 and was her best fan until her death in 2007 (my mum that is). These things influence you a lot. Eventually though you grow some, grow up and realise other people matter.

@Osvaldorama @thereisonlyoneno7 Nah, I think we’re the sane ones. Caring about health care, social care, minority’s groups, the working class, the environment, the economy. I’m not reevaluating my values based on this horrible result. I don’t think we’re the ones that got it wrong, but we will all suffer the consequences.

Normally, I'm a firm believer that if someone looks at the world and finds it crazy, 9 times out of 10, they are the crazy one.

But I honestly feel like not many people in this country have voted based on manifesto, policy or sense. The lying, cruel careerists have been proven correct.

Trolls, lies and hate are the new political currency. This is a new political age, where the politicians are appealing to people's tribal nature and not only getting away with it, but profiting by it unashamedly.
