Wandsworth council, which covers the Labour marginal of Battersea, the Tory marginal of Putney, and the safe Labour seat of Tooting, has confirmed that “unprecedented numbers” of people were voting this morning.

I don't believe labour can do anything that they promise, I think they'll tank the economy.

I don't think the tories will do much at all and it'll be business as usual, which I would prefer over labour's proposals.

I think most of the tories are arseholes and liars, but I do think I know exactly the sort of people they are and what they are capable of and I don't think they have much about them personally. I think it's just toffs wanting to keep things as they are.

I think most of labour are arseholes and liars, but I do think they have vast, unspoken desires for Britain and I have no idea what they're capable of. I think it's obvious Corbyn and McDonnel are akin to beret wearing 16 year old revolutionary dweebs who hate the world but never grew up.
Cheers for answering. Many wouldn’t

I'd like Andrew Neil as PM. I have enjoyed watching him literally take apart every party rep sat in front of him, leaving them sliding off their chairs getting smaller and smaller, apart form the Tories and the SNP who didn't want to face him. Last night apart from dismantling the poor Greens lady, he made it clear too the Brexit Party MEP before him hat Farage had been bum ****** by Johnson who reneged on an agreement made not to stand against them and within 24 hours of doing so.
I don’t think you saw him take Johnson apart, as he wouldn’t turn up

At uni I loved learning about anarchism as described by Proudhon - So I thought I'd just have another quick look on wikipedia for an overview as I've forgotten most of it.

"whoever lays his hand on me to govern me is a usurper and tyrant, and I declare him my enemy"

"To be GOVERNED is to be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right nor the wisdom nor the virtue to do so. To be GOVERNED is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, counted, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, authorized, admonished, prevented, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be place[d] under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted from, squeezed, hoaxed, robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harassed, hunted down, abused, clubbed, disarmed, bound, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, dishonored. That is government; that is its justice; that is its morality"

I don't think anarchism would work but I do retain a romantic ideal towards it.

Dianne Abbott turned up at her local polling station, in two left-footed shoes <laugh>

My opinion for what it’s worth

OLM didn’t know he was posting a photoshopped image originally posted online by a racist trying to rig the election.

He has the benefit of my doubt certainly.

The image wasn't photoshopped. She wears special shoes because of her diabetes.

Give people the option of None of the Above and some form electronic voting (in this day and age how antiquated are the current options) and maybe ...
call me old school, but having observed the issues in US elections with electronic voting (hanging chads, non-responsive touch screens) I think pencil and paper are the best understood method of voting - by both the voters and the observers in charge of preventing fraud.

Also, cheaper in terms of infrastructure - no need for software iq/pq/oq and purchases of IT equipment that’s probably obsolete in the next election, presuming a 5 year general election cycle.

Old fashioned... In all seriousness I can't believe in this world were all my bills and banking are done online, I can do that Parliamentary debate thing online, we can't do voting online. Make things easier for people and they are more likely to do
