With a Tory government, initial tokenism to the masses and then tax breaks for the very rich...
I would any day vote for a just society.. Nothing to do with Corbyn, but what the party stands for...

    That's some rant.

I don't want SH's support over anything. I just thought you had no reason, or right, to start talking about his daughter.

SH never answers a straight question. OFH wasn't talking about SH daughter but asking about SH reaction to depfeffel in a hypothetical situation. Not difficult for anyone to understand and not hard for SH to comment on such character.... cognitive dissonance is obviously at play.

If you think that is a rant you haven't been very far in this world. I hope that you understand what Hornet-Fez has said because he has summed up what I was saying very well.

Don't worry Saffy, OFH's common decency is obviously set on low.

Actually more voters in the South East are likely to be labour than you think if you count in the towns and are geographically accurate....

Why does Johnson keep saying that there will be 50,000 more nurses when everyone knows it is a lie? It just doesn't make sense.

Well, there are a few rough bits but these can easily be avoided. Much harder in the North though.

Johnson is not much liked, his likability score was -20 in a recent poll I saw. Corbyn's was -42! plus he will wreck this country with his policies.

Yes the picture from Leeds hospital looked very poor, but as usual it was not accompanied by any facts, it was trading on peoples emotions which is no way to make a judgement (Mme who was a nurse said it was rediculous).
The NHS is in a mess (but does a damn good job considering), all parties are responsible for this simply because they are not prepared to take drastic action to sort it out.

I agree that it does a good job, but that is down to the staff rather than a system working well. Hospitals have lost 17,000 beds and have wards closed because they cannot staff them. This is a failure of government to address the system.

Scullion I have sat in that very dept probably half a dozen times with my mum. Once I had to move my mum away from drunks who were abusing everybody. There were no cubicles for her. The worst time was when her GP sent her down with me because we thought she had had a stroke... and we sat in the wating are from around 11.00 am to 12.30 at night when a CT scan revealed she had a brain bleed.. and there were no beds so they put her in a cubicle all night..... . awful i can tell you.... no joking, no exaggerating....

The story was first covered by the Yorkshire Evening Post where I first spotted it. All of the details of the delays etc were there. I don't know if the national press gave those details, but they do tend to use news items in a different way to the local newspapers. Many journalists are now employed to work for a whole range of papers in different places as hard copy papers fight to survive. It is their stories that often appear nationally without giving any credits.
