most of that is arse wipe - if you want to be on the same side as Bernie Grant when he said the police got a bloody good hiding when PC Blakelock was murdered then fine

Oh if we're getting into who said what decades ago, can we reel off what our current PM has said in the past? That's always a lovely trip down memory lane.

My daughter is ten months old and she could type out a better summary of this thread than that load of drivel.

Oooh, the grown ups. Get a ****ing grip. I'm not bitter or twisted about how much I earn, I'm pissed off that companies don't pay as much as they should when they take billions out of the system. Why wouldn't that piss you off when we have people using foodbanks, an overworked NHS and people struggling to stay alive? What kind of human being doesn't feel compassion for those people, doesn't want to help them or, perhaps worse, doesn't care at all? My vote isn't to improve my life, it's to improve the lives of those people.

All that dross about Corbyn has been debunked a billion times over. He never supported the IRA, he never laid a wreath in support of terrorists (that story has already been shown to be a fabrication, he was there for totally different reasons) and he never had to resort to the ****ty, underhanded tactics that his Tory counterparts have utilised.

As has already been said, BJ doesn't even care about his own kids, why the hell do you think he cares about you? What sort of maniac looks at the state of the country, as it is now, and thinks "yeah, four more years of this, please"? When you see a trend occurring, such as an increase in food bank usage, you try to buck it, not grease the slope to let it slide quicker. We've already fallen for the con that is Brexit, so as a nation we're already in the ****ing red in terms of ridiculous decisions, but voting that bunch of ****ers in again would take the biscuit and smash it with an enormous horse cock.

Stop listening to Facebook, stop looking at memes and stop hanging around in echo chambers, where bilge like you just posted gets regurgitated and strengthens this desperate belief that the Tories are what's best for the country forever and always.

You want to be on the same side as Tommy Robinson, Nigel Farage, Katie Hopkins, Danny Tommo, Piers Morgan and other people generally considered to be the worst of us, fine. But I think I'll throw my lot in with the likes of Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson, David Attenborough, JK Rowling, Noam Chomsky, and Steve Coogan. You know, people who aren't enormous ****s.

Jury's out on several of those.

What about Ben Elton, Hugh Grant, Billy Bragg, Emma Thompson, Gary Lineker?

Showbiz hypocrites one and all.

I think it’ll be a lot closer than the polls suggest. I think some high profiles will lose their seats. I think young voters will have a big say in the result. I think at least two Parties will be looking for new Leaders after Christmas.

Agree with this really.

Itll be interesting to see if the growing trend on social media of calls to vote tactically pay off. More and more “guides” on how to vote in your area to stop a Tory majority are popping up on Facebook and Twitter reaching out to the younger voters.

We're all hypocrites to some degree, as long as you don't pretend not to be it's not really an issue. I just find it a tad amusing that the people I listed on the right are literally the definition of a top arsehole, while the left wing ones I put are just generally annoying at best.

But don’t mention what anyone connected with Labour said. They have moved on, it was ages ago, even when it was only 2 years and we should all forget about it. Twitter posts deleted and jobs a good un.

Morgan hardly qualifies as a top arsehole. He spouts off in the media, which plenty of others do, that is all. Just depends if you agree or disagree with what he is saying.

Yes, but you did pn’t mention really irritating left wing ****s like Owen Jones, Polly Toynbee others.

Who do people see winning? I see it as some sort of hung parliament where they’re all going to say we can’t do it as blah blah blah but we really want to, oh yes, but we can’t .
I think it will either be very close to a Tory majority, but not quite, or a very small Tory majority. I think a fair few of the Northern seats the Tories won unexpectedly in 2017 will go back to Labour. But Labour (and perhaps the Tories) will lose a few particularly Brexity seats (Hartlepool, Boston, that kind of place).

I think there will be another nine months of chaos before the next GE - because one thing's for sure, Johnson has burned his bridges with the DUP!

But but but but. Whataboutery at it's finest.

Show me some Labour ones. I'm not going to defend something that isn't defensible, if they've said something hurtful or stupid, then they're fair game, but this "BuT wHaT aBoUt LaBoUr?" every time something bad is pointed out about the Tories is pretty tiresome. Boris does it every time, he can't help himself. Instead of addressing the points at hand, he kindly tells people what Labour would/wouldn't do in that same situation. Maybe that's where it comes from.

the most interesting thing will be if Labour get in supported by the SNP - if part of the deal is to allow a Scottish Independent referendum and they vote to leave the UK then Labour will lose their coalition partner and will probably give the Tories a majority - at least that's how things seem to me
There is no way there will be an independence referendum before the Brexit referendum, in that scenario. It would be bad politics to do otherwise.

And if we vote to leave again, you can hardly blame the Scots for giving independence a try.

I can quote plenty Corbyn has said down the years. No doubt that would be deemed unfair.
