Match Preview;
Preston come to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on the back of 3 straight defeats, their last win being a 3-1 victory over Huddersfield on November 9th. Their top scorer this year is Daniel Johnson on 8 goals, 1 behind Nahki Wells who has 9. The difference is, they have 5 players who have scored 3 or more, we have 3...Wells, Hugill and Eze. We've also let in a whooping 37 goals, so 14 more than Preston...defending being an area that desperately needs sorting out. Barbet and Kelly are reportedly (https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/qpr-injury-update-ahead-preston-17359128) close to a return, and I'm hoping that they could somehow come in and bring some stability to the back line.
So, approaching the mid-way point in the season, and we are maybe a bit lower than I'd have hoped, but I didn't have high expectations for this season...so as long as we go into the last 10 games with nothing to worry about, I'll be happy.
Others can add any other team news, anything else I've missed below, but enjoy those who will be at HQ come Saturday afternoon and...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
