It was okay but massively over-hyped.

It’s very good. Bit ****ing long, the actors are a bit old. But it’s a good movie, much better than The Departed which was a bit **** imo.

    Have to disagree, Archie.

It's not a very good movie. It's meh.

De Niro is good in it because he's good at being De Niro.

Pacino hams it up, as has been his wont over the last couple of decades.

    Pesci is good in it.

Scorsese peaked with "Goodfellas" and he insists in still trying to remake it. "Casino" wasn't that good but still better than "The Irishman".

PS "The Departed" is an underrated movie IMHO.

Also seen "Joker". Brilliant. Going to watch it again because it's the type of movie where you can get more out of it in subsequent viewings, IMHO.

Also seen "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood".

Meh. Has it's moments, but overall, meh.

Rarely bother with movies these days although honourable menshies for Zero Dark Thirty, Body of Lies and Sicario.

Narcos was the dugs but a tv series.
