This is on tv tonight at 10pm, on Channel 4. Looks like it could be quite harrowing.

    The power of the media.
It decides what to reveal based, unfortunately, on it’s own political support.
If she was a Labour councillor, I am sure that we all would have heard about it years ago.

I was looking at current polling today and it looks like it is going to be really close. Not between Tory and Labour but between Tory, Labour, Lib Dem and SNP. I could see a coalition being put together or, more likely, more hung parliament shenanigans.

If Corbyn just stepped down, and I say this as a Labour supporter, we could get on and get this won. I lile him, but too many don't.

What looks like happening is the firming-up of tactical voting, as well as more and more of the Remain vote getting behind Labour in England. Scotland will possibly go almost entirely to the SNP, NI will see the DUP losing seats. Wales is anyone’s guess.

Corbyn is riding the storm really well, and Friday’s head-to-head debate will be crucial.

Sadly Corbyn is an electoral lability. You can argue the reasons for it and my personal view is that he isn't as bad as he is made out to be but that his is a personality that lends itself to making their lies about him credible. Whatever the reason many, many potential Labour supporters won't vote for the party while he is leader. I hope it's a hung parliament. Not just my preference but also the very best result that Labour are likely to achieve.

Even though we know it's happening all over the country, watching that is heart breaking and at the same time it makes me feel so bloody angry. Those kids, their parents and anyone else forced to rely on food banks deserve better than having to live like that.

At times like this I feel bloody ashamed that I never do enough to help others. For the cost of a couple of match tickets their Christmas could be a whole lot better.

    Totally agree.

There was a piece on channel 4 news about ex labour voters and most were saying they admired BoJo's fantastic leadership (what???) and felt Labour just wanted to stop Brexit as it was going to make ordinary people richer (double whhhhaaatttt?).

    People are thick.

Saw that - they were from Birmingham. Couldn`t believe what I was hearing. Talk about naïve and gullible!

I got the impression they were just stubborn brexit fans looking for something to justify their miserable life choices.

100% - forget political views. In 2019, there is no reason for anyone to go hungry or sleep on the streets in the UK

Whatever you think of the BBCs election coverage there are always points when their reporting is good. The Reality Check and fact checking articles are among those

I think it’s main issue is allowing the daily agenda to be set by mainstream media which is largely right wing

A bit of local political news from the BBC for anyone in the South West Rail area ...

SWR and the union agreed a deal on the guards on trains issue and it was pulled by the Dept of Transport. BBC called this “political interference”

I have been saying that the Govt are the elephant in the room on these negotiations for a long time and now it’s been confirmed
