The outside is great as long as there's a bed at the end of it.Just make sure you leave a window open at home to get some oxygen mate.

We probably were, how many could there have been? This would have been 90-91 probably.
Daft to think we'd have been at the same gig, eh?

Really looking forward to Christmas and more so the fact I'm still here. Had a major heart attack at about 10.30am on the 8th November, was blue lighted straight to Leeds General and had emergency treatment. Got 2 stents put into a blocked artery near to the Aorta head and spent 8 days in the CCU afterwards. Had tests done after the emergency and found out that I'm back in Leeds hospital early January for triple bypass heart surgery as another 3 arteries are ****ed.. Wouldn't want anyone to go through the pain, vomiting, drenched sweating and feeling that this is it, so my message this Christmas is, just watch what you are stuffing down your throat and neck. You get a pain that doesn't feel right then don't **** about, get yourself in as an emergency. Apparently I had about an hour to live, lost consciousness in the ambulance and had a strange feeling of peace, I could never thank the paramedics or heart specialists enough.. I'm home to enjoy with my girls and will be taking it easy, got a heavy January ahead but **** happens. Have a wonderful Christmas all, go steady and be ready, all the best from Joe..

glad you wrote that tel, you put it a lot better than i could have. Not good news mate, look after yourself. I know you have to be there for your girls but you gotta look after number one as well, I feel like there’s a lot of men out there who sacrifice themselves for the love of their family. Make sure you get the big piece of chicken brother, and make sure you get your chill time too. It’s great that you pulled through this though, take it easy Joe and have a great Xmas.![]()
