Utter disgrace. Propaganda machine working overtime ..... and getting results looking at the latest opinion polls :emoticon-0121-angry
How the hell can this electorate STILL vote for this shower?
Now I’m being ticked off by my girlfriend and her family for posting too many political threads on Facebook .... They don’t want to hear how important this election is and say I’m being “boring” ...... :emoticon-0121-angry
I just don’t understand it ..... :emoticon-0114-dull:

You can take a horse to water....

The way the Tory party are controlling things regarding the media is very reminiscent to those of us with an interest in history might draw a parallel with a certain Dr. Goebbels. Same tactics of denigrating both any message or any messenger of anyone who tries to expose your lies.

Never thought I would ever see this.

I hoped to never see a statement like the one Lenny Henry puts out here, but such is the insidious nature of the modern Tory proposals [austerity anyone, NHS erosion?], they not only make ordinary people's lives poorer and manage to market their proposals successfully enough to sufficient people to continue in power, it was almost inevitable that a good person like Lenny Henry would say something like this eventually. The average person is so "head-down" getting on with life, that they don't have the time or inclination to thoroughly consider the effects of paradigm shifts, be it in politics, business or climate change. So when LH says something like this, it's time to pause and take heed. Don't yet another life warning go by.

Good find, btw.

Boris getting a lovely bit of air time with Andrew Marr despite BBC saying he had to do Neil first. BBC is utterly corrupt now.

The Boris Brexit Corporation?

I think they're running scared of privatisation and the abolition of the license fee, so they're keeping the government sweet. Could be awkward if there is a change of government.

I don't want to harp on about this and get accused of Godwinism but all this is very sinister. I do hope that the Marrster sticks it to him. Clearly Neil, isn't going to get the chance.
