I believe Gove arrived so late the little snake got washed away by the ice melting....

The Climate debate, the major issue, was for party leaders, don't the Tories know who their Leader is? They do, but couldn't send Borisov because is a coward. Farage didn't turn up either and Channel 4 put up an ice sculpture of him too. Good on them. Andrew Neil should interview a Giant Blubbery Sulkov.

He did actually, he was doing something better. Just because CH4 decided to have a 'Leaders debate' doesn't mean they are obliged to go. Who are CH4?

I can imagine all the lefty activists being paid to turn up and barrack him. Cue the upset Dr and Nurse the guy that uses foodbanks, the poor student, the old person who cant get an appointment and so on. I have seen how CH4 works. Waste of time.

Conservative sources also briefed journalists at BuzzFeed News and the Telegraph that "if we are re-elected we will have to review Channel 4's Public Services Broadcasting obligations".

Channel 4's public service broadcasting licence is up for renewal in 2024.

A bit like remainers cheering the stopping of the result of the referendum being enacted, like something the leaders of third world countries would try to do.
I said earlier in this thread that if a Tory government gets in with a large majority, they may pass measures like this.

We’d have left by now if the right wing of the Tory party hadn’t demanded the Brexiest Brexit possible but yeah, Remainers.

No mate. I am disgusted by despicable ways these 'elitists' have acted over Brexit. MP's, Media, Judges, people in high places, all acting like muppets because they couldn't respect the referendum result.
Bringing the courts into a parliamentary matter was unnecessary. Bercow should hold his head in shame. Thank god that little weasel is gone and the rest of those dreadful MP's.
What people should take note of, is the amount of news on the state of the NHS and food banks. If these 'elitists' had respected the result there wouldn't have ben so much uncertainty and money being wasted. This money could have been used for these services. Corbyn can bleat on about it but his games have cost money that could have gone to these services.
They have been acting like spoilt brats.
In all my years of watching politics I have never been more ashamed how many have acted in recent times.
A clean sweep is needed to bring back respect and I hope the Tories do it.

actually it was dreadful.
I was hoping it was going to be good and really wanted to see decent mock of Boris but sadly it didn't have the quality.

You hope a Fascist Tory Leader will suppress media you don't like! In this case a Media channel who had invited all Party Leaders to discuss the Climate Emegency, ahh all Fake News for Tory Fascists of course. FFS, yet again it sounds like Nazi Germany in the 30's.

Have a look at the likes of Jon Snow, main Ch 4 News presenter who chanted "**** the Tories" at Glastonbury. He's supposed to be an impartial interviewer. If Andrew Neil had chanted "**** Corbyn's Labour Party" at a concert, do you think Corbyn would have allowed himself to be interviewed by him?

The Tories offered Gove, who was an environmental minister. If Ch 4 didn't want him, that's their privilege, but the ice sculpture was petulant and should get them heavily fined hopefully. And I hope they lost their licence and we get a neutral news source

I did hear that the leaders kicked up a fuss about Gove. However totally agree with comments about Snow/CH4/Glastonbury. The channel is so 'lefty' it goes in around circles. The whole thing was staged to make Boris look stupid and he got wind of it. It's the last throws of the left who know Boris is going to win big and all their snowflake policies will be buried along with Bercow and the libs.
