I went up to your place one boxing day. Hitched. Walked down to the M62 with mate (about half a mile from where me Mum lives, it's the M60 now) and bag of Carlsberg and stuck our thumbs out. Got a ticket right outside, courtesy of a couple of very nice geordie coppers, face value and watched us lose 1-0. Gazza played and Glen Roeder scored the winner with a header. Then hitched back again. Good times. Thew up on the A1M.
quite a day by the sounds of things … i'm pretty sure my day will be less memorable but I will be witnessing a defeat I think you're turning the corner now.
There was a young guy in it who had long curly blonde hair. He was no oil painting. My mate looked exactly like him. The number of birds he copped off with because they thought they’d bagged someone off the telly.
Will be opening the Times box this weekend, yes. Looking forward to some of those bottles, they won't be shared with outside family! The stuff from Tesco is stock stuff.
I'm going to do some homemade rum truffles, haven't made truffles for years but I remember it being easy to do.
