Which brand of chocolate do you go for, if indeed you go for the chocolate ones?
I'll definitely be buying chocolate calendars. I like the sound of the Aero truffle one. Thorntons are pretty good too. My youngest daughter wants the Reese's cups one. I can't stand those Kinnerton calendars - the chocolate is awful.

Theres a Cadburys one in a Big Ben themed box.
Its looks really good .
The missus had to stop me buying one as we already have enough

Lindt chocolate is extremely nice !
I will go for Cadbury's Dairy Milk, no other chocolate comes close to it imho.
 
I was in Bruges for Christmas about 13 years ago. Before I went, I didn't realise it had so many canals.
I'd never been until a couple of years ago !
I was surprised at the amount of water I must say !
What a fantastic looking place at Christmas :emoticon-0148-yes:.
Way to full at the weekend at this time of year so better during week I went for weekend last year and boy is it busy .
Fine during g the week a couple of years ago .
Ghent is really nice also and only 35 mins on train .

You are right: Ghent is fantastic. I especially love the castle and it's array of torture devices.
