Levy is going to be in for a nasty surprise then the way inflation is in this transfer market, the replacements you need and how jose is inflexible on the players he wants.

As a Spurs fan I’m genuinely excited to see where he takes us.

All this talk about him ruining Clubs is hilarious...he leaves a football club like most managers do...in a negative spiral..that’s why they get sacked.

I agree and this is where it has gone wrong for him, the signings lately have not been right and that means he has no players that he can rely on to drive his tactics and thinking. There's not a leader there. Who at spurs will take that role up? There's nobody that comes to mind. Son will work for him but does he have much influence? If the likes of Alli and Rose take a dislike it'll spread through the squad.

Every manager does well because of some aspect of the players or another but Jose only did well because he got the best out of his players...isn’t that the aim of all managers?

    <laugh>

See this is the kind of bandwagon ****e I’m talking about

If I was in your situation (thank **** I'm not) I'd be interested to see what happens but very nervous of how it will all go after the honeymoon period.

Kane is one of the most influential players at Spurs. Get him onside and you’re on to a good start.

I'm just waiting for the january and summer windows. I expect their to be fireworks between jose and levy, especially when jose starts getting mouthy. I heard he was given a 4 year contract too!

I don't see Kane as a leader at all. Vertoghen yes but he's out of contract soon I think. Rose is a moaning muppet.

    Yep.

Jose is well past his best but may well instil a winning mentality and a domestic cup at Spurs.

You could maybe win an FACup semi under him

Also, he's a mopey sourpuss **** whose sense of humour soon gets tiresome. That, and I've never seen a human being so completely lacking in humility. Apart from that, I've always like him too.

Does anyone apart from Levy think Mourinho won't be a complete disaster?

I personally dont think it will be a good fit, at least not beyond the remainder of this season.

Aye Spurly is being the glass half full guy today :)

Hey it might work out, we know Jose has skills, lets not pretend he hasn't won every trophy going.
The guy was once considered the best manager in the world, at least by some.

He just isnt known for building teams on the cheap, at least not ones that last. But his name is still a draw in world football.
Especially if Spurs manage to somehow get CL footie again for next season. Who knows......

Yes, he is well past his best. But can win trophies/big games still.

Let's see how happy Jose is when Levy announces his transfer budget
