You'll be okay for this season with Jose, he will improve them for sure.
Its beyond this season that I would worry about, but like you said, its not like you were winning trophies before, so as long as Jose doesn't get you relegated, it can't be all that bad.

For what its worth though, I think Spurs have a good chance of grabbing a pot with Jose in charge this season though, probably the FA Cup.

If they drop out of the CL into the Europey, they could still win that.

And I’d be fine with that...if Jose got his eyes on a prize..he’s getting it. Like when he wanted CL qualification via the Europa with United...he damn well made sure they got it.

Not living out of a suitcase will make a massive difference to Jose.Always thought he'd work in London again.

Ive always liked Jose...he just hates lazy ****s who don’t run through walls for him and that’s fair enough..that’s how you get the best out of your squad.

He was a depressed man at United..I’m expecting him to be revitalised.

Its not nonsense, its spot on.
But he also has major flaws.
Like a tendency to blame everyone but himself when **** goes wrong. (like ones medical staff for example)
He has a massive ego, and he wont like being second fiddle to Levy.

    Why is it?

No different to Klopp in that regards

Rarely do top managers play half arsed shisters

He's more system based and rigid with that than running and effort but I suppose you could mean that with what you posted I was just picking up on the running part. I feel he's more "do what I say or else" other than getting players to play FOR him. With that in mind I think that is where it went wrong for him at Utd, the modern player is a bit of a baby and doesn't like to be told what to do.

I feel that his ways worked so well at Chelsea because he got the senior players like Terry and Frank and Drogba on board and that they then drove the others on. Without that senior support it goes wrong for him.

    That’s fine

You’re cool with your stars downing tools then conveniently picking them up. I was also watching the media frenzy and bandwagon when it was happening.

You was eating his **** when he joined both times until he showed your players to be the ****cunts they are.

We as fans complain about players who don’t work their bollocks off for the team..yet when the likes of Jose pulls them players up everyone starts acting like typical Millenial snowflakes.

Rumour has it he’s going to **** Spurs up and leave them in turmoil I mean I’m already thinking about who to support once he ****s us up and we end up in the Championship <laugh>

One of the 2 will have had to step down on their usual demands for this to have got this far.

Or maybe as I said on the Spurs board....Levy didn’t quite trust Poch with a war chest...that’s me being nice to Levy(we don’t really have war chests)

To be sensible about this, he a very good manager who's had success everywhere he's gone. This is his biggest challenge since Porto though and he's got his work cut out to win a pot with that bunch. Having said that if he's given the players he wants and that will mean 4 or 5 top players he may well do something. I just cant see Levy giving him around £200M+ over the next 12 months.

Levy’s no mug. You can bet that they’ve come to some understanding as to what funds are available, etc.

Everybody knows that he likes an open chequebook. There’s no way Levy would have appointed him without coming to some agreement over spending.
