How are you excellent guys doing today?

I've just been to Sainsbury's for some bits. All rather boring, to be honest.

I'm about to go for a lunchtime pint or 3, and have a very boring afternoon planned.

Sainsburys is the worst of the big supermarkets imho. I only go there for a few bits of their own brand stuff, like apple and mango squash and their chilli humus. Rest is overpriced and lacking in quality.

Hence why I only picked up some bits. I much prefer M&S and Waitrose, but I couldn't be bothered with the drive out.

Enjoy your afternoon, pal.

For the last ****ing time, she hasn't got massive nostrils, they are melted together and have been for years, you stupid ****.

And no pops shall be happening. Idiot.

Poor **** is desperately trying, despite his limited abilities.

Do you have a favourite Christmas song?

Mine is Cliff's Mistletoe & Wine. It reminds me of 1988, a fine year for young Ponders.
Mull of Kintrye 1977. Campbeltown Pipe Band play in it. Not really a Christmas song, but was Christmas No.1. Was number 1 for weeks and at one stage was 3rd best selling single of all time, behind White Christmas and another song.

At Charlton we sing "Valley Floyd Road, the mist rolling in from the Thames..." to the tune of Mull of Kintyre.

Great song.
