Good old Rio. I know I probably shouldn't say this because I definitely believe there is outright racism in all areas of football but I'm glad there's no possibility of this being race related either or he'd be all over that.

I can't see any defence for Sterling in this one. I don't know if Southgate was right or wrong in speaking about it but how would he explain Sterling's absence otherwise?
How can it possibly be race-related???

Rio Ferdinand reckons Southgate is out of order because hes hung Sterling out to dry, waffling on about during his time players punched eachother and even kicked eachother in the head, reckons anything that happens should be kept in house.

He was at West Ham when Hartson kicked Berkovic wasn't he?

Yeah he was, and we all saw that on YouTube, but using and justifying examples like that shows what a tosser Ferdinand is, that's the same player done for dodging a drugs test, racially abusing a fellow player and breaking a woman's nose when he petulantly kicked the ball into the crowd when a decision went against him.
What a twat.

Hartson was dragged over the coals for that too. Rio claiming "it happens" is as ridiculous as the prospect of accepting racism in training!
