I suppose it's all about tv as usual Red. From what the article says, they'll still have the events, but they won't play a part in the finals at the end of the season. It may also mean that when that when the rounds of the Diamond League are broadcast, the events listed above may not be put to air.

But as next season will be in the Olympic year, I think the Diamond League folk probably should have opened up extra events instead of cutting them.

Wow 3-0 to Jimmy White!

I have got 11/1 for a White win (didn't expect to win) and apparently it was 175/1 for a 4-0 White win.

It is my lot (thanks to geography and parentage) to be a supporter of Sheffield Wednesday Kenny.

Last 5 matches:

Cardiff (a) leading 1-0, dominating the match, sucker punch 1-1 (87th minute)

Leeds (h) drew 0-0 - fair enough

If we could defend a lead for the last 10 minutes we'd be top of the league.
