Day 4. The old master Hakuho just seems to keep on keeping on. It's rare to have a legend still competing in a sport, let alone dominating it. His list of records is breathtaking. Hakuho is Sumo's Federer, Bradman or Phelps.

Will do mate. I've only landed 3 this year so far but been very close on several occasions. It's hard playing the handicaps but no value playing outright win. You'd need about 20 selections for a worthwhile return. I do £5 6 folds on them both, returns usually range between £230 to £350. This weeks returns are £256 for NFL and £247 for College Football

Who's your team Smokey...?? My lot are dire this year, the Redskins, having a shocker, but I have seen them win so it's not all about the glory, is it...?? <laugh><laugh> I've followed the NFL since it's first showing over here, way back, 30 years ago I'm guessing, when Channel4 had it and the only and only Frank Gifford was the host. John Diesel Riggins was my favourite player then, but nowadays it seems each team has two or three super stars in their line ups, it's easier to just watch em...

Patriots mate, please don't boo me. I've not quite been into it as long as you though, I've watched Superbowl for around 20 years but been a supporter and big fan for around 10 years

Boo you, ha... I can remember them being absolutely stuffed in Superbowl 20, sorry XX, by the Bears, good to see a franchise bounce back from that to be THE real super power in the NFL... Like Fergie leaving Utd, ole Bill's time is coming soon, and some of his superstar players, so it'll be a new name to beat when that happens...

The superstars come and go, Bellichick is the key. Brady will be extremely difficult to replace when he finally calls time but Bill can get the best out of every player, a rare quality for a coach. The hope is that Josh Daniels is been lined up to replace him or take Matt Patricia back from the Lions. Coaches who know the Bellichick way and have been groomed to take over the 'system' that the Patriots have.

I promise I'm not a glory supporter though. I've watched Baseball since I was a kid and my team are Boston Red Sox, I was always fascinated by 'the curse of bambino' (now thankfully broken). So when I started getting into NFL I needed a team so thought the easiest way of picking would be to just stay with Boston. Turns out that's the Patriots.

Never been I'd love to. I went to a game over here at Twickenham the other year, I enjoyed it but definitely not the same experience as I'd get in America. I'm 40 in two and half years time I've put the wife on notice that a trip to the Superbowl would be a good present

Terrible mate, he's been banned until, at the very least the end of the season and rightly so. You don't need stuff like that happening. Could have caused some serious damage.

Oddy, the head concussion thing is massive at the moment in the NFL. so to hit someone like that is just shocking... He's gonna be sitting out for a while yet. Horrible wasn't it...

I’m just glad it was the black guy doing it to the white guy, otherwise there would have been all manner of race cards played ......

College football one down. Minnesota lost to Iowa by just 4 and Michigan State were hammered by Michigan, lost by 34. Other 4 came in but worthless to me. Fingers crossed for NFL this evening

No good on this one either. 4 out of 6 again. Lions lost by 8 to Cowboys and Panthers were on the wrong side of a 26 point mauling against the Falcons, who picked up just their 3rd win of the season.
