Just to add to GOM etc that if preference shares have been issued, the relevant company (probably Madrox Partners) would have to submit an SH01 form to Companies House. That hasn't happened yet, which is why I still think it is a loan.

Hopefully it's a loan which ties in FPP for the long term (e.g. convertible loan notes) more than an ordinary loan would. Also, if it was an ordinary loan, I would expect to see a security charge registered at Companies House for it (e.g. if FPP aren't repaid they can have Madrox's investment in Sunderland Ltd) and that hasn't happened yet either.

I have been thinking about this and trying to understand what GOM and @HeatonMackem have said and I have now decided that the Americans will be in full control by the start of the 2021/22 season at the latest

Maybe each promotion take further control and pump in a bit coin so by time back in PL they are full owners.

Then SD and CM either stay on in some capacity or dance of into the sunset with big bags full of cash well earned!

I would have no problem if that happened. They pretty much always said previously that they (SD at least) would love to be at the club in 5 years time having got us back into a healthy position, and with investors helping them past the Championship.
He always sounded very confident that they could attract some big hitters. More through JS, but it seems like it was CM who got these lads onside

What sort of timescale would you expect either of these things to be submitted/ visible on companies house?

Must admit when GOM tries to put it in simple terms for people like me he may as well put it in Arabic as I'm non the wiser<laugh>

They are supposed to be submitted within 3 weeks for a security charge and 1 month for the issue of shares. Nothing much happens if they are late but it looks bad.

How is it that when I read about this topic on Pure Football, everyone knows exactly what’s going on yet when I come on here, neebody has a clue ?

Maybe because on here there is a more of a realistic approach and a more general discussion without trying to score points?

Just imagine if much smaller clubs like charlton luton, barnsley got it so wrong so often and at such expense?
The last person to get recruitment right with us was big sam, but even after he left those players ranked.
I suspect though that with hill and donald being as thick as thieves our fears will remain

Would love your assessment to be true but I really think we should be taking baby steps.
If we fail to achieve promotion it puts a whole new complexion on things.
    Fingers crossed

  16. Yep,I think we all have the feeling that promotion this season is a must for this to progress any further.

    Hmm,

Multi millionaires, sorry billionaires using high end accountants still felt that we were worth investing in us yet people still give this knacker attention?

He clearly has an agenda with the club.

Think about it another way. Madrox already own the shares in SAFC so additional monies put in wouldn't necessarily appear on companies house.
