There's nothing I can add, I've posted everything I've been told and am just waiting like everyone else.

I was told that there'd be a statement last week and there wasn't.

Then I was told Monday and that passed.

I was told that by someone in good faith and now he feels bad for telling me. I feel bad for getting people's hopes up but, if I'm given another date I'll post it. When all is said done no one dies if I'm wrong and no one will believe me 100% until there's a club statement in any case.

Donald & Methven may well be doing a great job, behind the scenes, but these 'imminent' leaks aren't helping.

Its becoming a bit like last nights game mate... about to celebrate but we hit the post and the buggers run up the other end and score... we then get what we wanted.. a goal... only to then think we get a penalty but its not givem.. .we sit in wait for the impending news after a penalty shoot out only to end yup saying bollocks.. back to the drawing board.... well thats how its felt for me so far <laugh>

It's all weird at the moment isn't it.

Our takeover/investment is imminent according to the club.

The latest Newcastle takeover was imminent according to the Chronicle.

They've both gone quiet as have the Mag protests against Ashley.

What a bizarre time in the NE ...

Mind it would literally see me off if those bastards got taken over after all of this

Never heard of that one always presumed you just popped it and drank it all like Wine.

Not really a fan of champagne me like even the expensive stuff was given a glass at a work do years ago cost thousands for the bottle apparently unsure of proper cost but just tasted like fizzy white wine.
 
Wish they would either announce it as off or on so we can concentrate on the performances on the pitch.

I still think it's an investment / gradual takeover, but maybe its a cunning plan to drag it out till the January window so other clubs think we are skint
