Why would anyone believe that from you when you're just someone on a forum they've never met.
I don't think we should blame smug if it doesn't happen. Sure, he's been happy to lap up the likes, but it's as much on the people going 'YOU USED A COMMA THERE SMUG, HAVE YOU HEARD ANYTHING? IS A COMMA BECAUSE WE'RE JUST TAKING A BREATH BEFORE THE TAKEOVER? TEXT BACK SMUG!'
Just need to calm down. Nobody is working to smug's timescale. I did a deal once where even with everyone wanting the exact same thing, the lawyers created problems out of nowhere and took ages to get it all resolved. I kept telling the parties that it was close, that we were almost there etc. It is almost certainly never as close or as far away as it seems.

I am as frustrated as anyone over the whole thing, but are you suggesting ALS printed off loads of t shirts, RR did a takeover special saying it's done, on the back of listening to Smugs posts on the here and RTG?
Add in it's been reported by The Telegraph, The Sun, Radio 5 live Radio, a company with 3 of the new owners setting up at company based from the SOL, etc etc Should i not believe any of them either, as i have never met anyone from any of them sources in real life either?

The echo while not being the up to date go to place for sunderland news like it was in the past is still something people take notice of. For them to print and post that must have been confident in it source.
These little tit bits aren’t helping the fan base one bit. Better off just printing it’s still progressing rather than what they did.
I still fully think something will happen and the amount of time and money it must have cost the Americans might mean we get a nicer surprise than we expect but the source of all the leaks needs finding and a plaster stuck over their mouth until it’s done and dusted.

It's more amazing as to how many match going supporters he's helped out with tickets, whatever has been posted has been in good faith, why is that such a problem?
