To test if an egg is good/bad place it in a bowl of fresh water. If it sinks to the bottom it's GOOD. If it floats to the top it's BAD.

Gherkins are class. Anyone takes them out of a sanny or burger needs put to sleep asap
I take them off and eat them on their own, i like them but don't think they belong on a burger tbh.

Thoroughly recommend the restaurant if you fancy something a bit quirky.
Most stuff is cheese based but was lovely. I’d just done a 24hr fast though so might skew the results somewhat.

Eggs keep for weeks at room temperature, no need to refrigerate.
Pickles can last for years, though I'd trust homemade to last longer than shop-bought as at home we tend to use neat vinegar, not watered down.
And butter? I keep mine in the fridge but then there's a tin of ghee in the cupboard. That makes no sense.
