snodgrass is at his best when he is palying in front of a full back who finds it natural to attack.eg connolly/lichaj. this way the full back overlapping drags away a defender and prevents teams doubling up on snoddy.
--snoddy is playing bad on purpose ---he wants out ---e wants moneySnodgrass has been a ****in joke this season. Nash yeah he wants out mate it is clear. Even taking into account his natural hunchback, he looks like he couldn't give a ****

I can confirm that Snoddy is 100% committed to Leeds United and has not looked for a move away, but the club have made it clear to him what they are looking for and he is now perhaps showing the affect of this on the field. It's hard to be 100% committed when the people you work for don't want you anymore. Snoddy will bounce back, he's needing a few weeks to get things out of his system and then he will be back to his best.

yea i very much highly rate snoddy, he does seem off a little bit. But he has still shown moments of magic and produced a decent amount of assists already. Maybe we just expect it from him now and dont appreciate it as much
Plus the opposition have him man-marked to **** most games. Very hard for him to do his wriggling and writhing routine when he's marked so closely - not that it's stopped him from providing quite a few goals.

A good manager plans for this and uses the opportunity of two opposing players marking one of his to get his players into positions were they can't be marked, unless the opposition revert back to single marking of the danger man. As far as I have seen this season, Grayson has failed to do that, instead he just allows the man marking to take place and this means more often than not, Snoddy fails to get past the defence and put dangerous balls into the opposition box.
Remember it's eleven men v eleven men, if two are right beside Snoddy when we are attacking, then that means there are gaps for us to exploit.
Morning Boab, are you saying that Snodgrass would play better if he linked up with a wing back ?
Possibly, but I was really meaning the whole attack and midfield should be creating space (where the gaps are) for Snoddy to get the ball to quickly or for others to have a go, if the opposition keep two players on one of ours, then there will be defensive gaps and it's up to us to exploit it.
To do this, you need fit and fast players, perhaps we don't have that and that's why Grayson doesn't do it.
