I've got most of what they did on both vinyl and cd but I don't think id be spending that sort of cash on a grotty ole jumper...

Personally bennys bridge winning. But we were talking about this yesterday evening in town . It reaffirmed to me something a wise person said to me. Good horses go on any ground and I sort of dismissed them saint calvados , slate house and quel destin were impressive yesterday on ground that was atrocious, never seen ground like it. Maybe it was the ground but I wasn’t impressed with the novices chase on Friday. Note to oneself concentrate more i didn’t see Danny Mullins with one ride is a tip in itself why didn’t I see it. The irony being, mrs text me heaven help us. Didn’t see it till after the event.
Cheltenham does a lot of things that wind me up but the standard of sport drags you back there year after year.
The course seem to be on a constant wind up, the £6 for a pint plus another £1 for a reusable glass is crazy. Fortunate enough we get proper glasses in the members bars, but the £6 is ridiculous. I think they probably should have inspected earlier yesterday, and had a proper inspection rather than just going down to the last. It was waterlogged for sure in other parts of the course, and i'd say it was a very risky thing to run the card.
Fortunately Friday went to plan and yesterday I covered some of the losses with an early bet on the Pipe horse. The one I took out of the two days that might have gone under the radar was Minella Warrior who to me looks a proper staying chaser of the future, the just under 4 miler would be an obvious target.
It seems every time I walk through the gate the price of drinks goes up. I was half expecting for them to run three races and abandon so they wouldn’t have to refund. On Friday poor old wholestone had to do all the donkey work to get caught late on again. On the whole some great racing.

I had awful trouble logging In after the site updated a while back now, which resulted in me having to resign myself away from being able to post and ultimately even look In on proceedings at all. I tried a few avenues to gain access to no avail, but finally today, it worked using an old tablet I dug out of a storage box and here I am

.Glad the racing was on on Saturday but it was a close call. The one I took out of the two days was Slate House although I must confess didn't see much of the racing on Friday. I thought he was very impressive in that race.. travelled very smoothly and won with plenty in hand. Could be one to follow this season.

Gave Duke Street and absolute peach of a ride on Friday. Only his second ride in public. Take note of this young man in the months to come as he is going to be in demand with his claim I am sure.
