    What a ****ing performance today.

Unplayable and took the piss out of the best LB in the league maybe even the world.

Young has been the main man on the wings so far this season but today Nani took it to a new level. Got a goal, could of had more, chelsea just couldnt get the ball off him.

Sky showed some stats comparing Nanis first 100 games with Ronaldos first 100. Anyone got them, apparently they were very impressive for Nani.

    Edit I have got them:

Those stats look pretty sorted, could Nani improve to the sort of level Ronaldo is at now though, that's the question.

Great goal from an offside position and a sublimely unaware deflected pass for Rooney's goal but these paled into insignificance at the fantastic dive for a penalty.

    Top man <ok>

He was just off side but he was a mile from the goal and went through 2 players and the chelsea defence just retreated. The thing you should be asking yourself is why was he allowed to shoot. The offside was tight and these things happen, it wasnt as if he found himself clean through is it. If that is what hurts most about the goal then there is something wrong.

This dive you talk about, were you dreaming?

How can he be blamed for the ball hitting him? Again I would ask questions about your defending before anything else.

Nani was MOTM today and was brilliant.

Wont happen. Nani will get 10 or so goals every season no doubt about that and he will get 15 assists on top of that. He will torment teams for fun when hes not scoring or creating but he will never score 40+ goals a season because he doesnt play the same role as Ronaldo did later in his United career and at Madrid now.

Ronaldo made a huge jump at this point in his united career and the stats will turn against Nani fast if he doesn't follow suit, but he showed his class today so whose to say he can't do it.

I dont think he will but it depends how you look at it. I expect Nani will go on to be the best out and out winger of his generation. Hes already one of if not the best winger in the world. Hes had a slow start this season.....1 goals and 2 assists in 4 games slow.

I imagine Nanis best season will be something like 20ish goals and 20ish assists, 40 or 50 goals thanks to nani in 1 season. Hes more than capable of doing it and for me thats as good as scoring 40+ goals outright.

The key difference between Ronaldo's first 100 games and Nani's are that Ronaldo was only 21 when he reach 100 games, Nani is 24. Nani seems to be improving each season and is turning into a very good player, but Ronaldo was just superb and I wouldn't burden Nani with too many Ronaldo comparisons.

This. <ok> Nani will never be as good as Ronaldo was during the end of his United Career. At that point in time he was without a doubt the best player in the world. That being said Nani, is an excellent winger, possibly the best in the world. As long as Nani produces like he has been over the last year and a half, we'll be in pretty good shape.

He could become a better all round player imo. Nani has everything much like ronaldo did before he decided he was a goal machine. I actually prefer the Ronaldo who had all the ability aswell as the deadly finishing over the goal machine one.

Im pleased with Nani! he was on the verge of being phased out at United but fair play to him he has come through and done well since ronaldo went! even after he was dropped towards the end of last season people were having doubts over him so well done to him! interesting to see how good he can get!!

Yes. Ronaldo played his first 100 games when he was aged 18-21. Nani played his first 100 when aged 21-24. So about three years difference.

I can't see Nani taking off the way Ronaldo did at this stage of his career but I am still hoping he proves me wrong.

I get the feeling Nani is the sort of guy to prove people wrong.

Its all he seems to be doing.
