I can see him contributing to around 30+ goals a season in the league alone. i dont mean he will score 30 but will assist and score a combination of the two. This would be a fantastic contribution to the team. For me the lad is world class. Even on a bad day he tends to create a few good chances for the forwards and more often than not leaves his fullback having nightmares for weeks after.
Nani will always compared to CR because of nationality and both are/were wingers. Just like Bale is the next Giggs. It may have taken Nani longer (age wise) to reach his 100th game, due to the fact CR had nailed down the right wing berth and he was behind Giggs and Park on the left, and probably didnt want to play on the left. Plus he arrived after CR which did him no favours.

Ronaldo came and all but had the right wing job handed to him. Nani then arrived and had a certain Mr Ronaldo on the right and a Mr Giggs on the left to compete with. Nani was also older when he joined. The age thing means absolutely nothing. Less that nothing because its not a factor. At the time Ronaldo reached his 100th game Nani was still considered back up to both wingers. Once he got a run in the team in January 2010 he has been top class.
What I am really happy about if the fact that Nani becomes a little more selfish each match he plays, it's palpable this season, especially! We'll see less and less of his clueless 30-yard attempts and better link-up with our forwards, already have seen a gulf in class between last season even.
I think the age thing does mean something. Nani would not have got those stats had he been the same age as Ronaldo.
