Eh? You jumped in and asked me the questions, which I answered directly. I just pointed out, in view of the fact he's being slated ahl owa the shop, that SD has already involved a serious player in a league 1 club. If he was motivated enough, JS has the dollar to make a major difference. He clearly isn't, for understandable reasons imo, however, that's not SDs fault. Based on his track record, I reckon he'll probably get the necessary investment. Now, what is the point you're trying to make? That you disagree, presumably?

I don’t know anyone in the real world that thinks he’s up to know good. A few think he could’ve done better which is fair enough but everyone appreciates he didn’t get us into this mess but is trying to get us by out of it.

It briefly seemed like he was a great person to bring into the fold, loads of enthusiasm, loads of money, unfortunately his attention was never going to be on Sunderland. Still like the guy but it was pointless really.

I don’t trust SD and CM. Ultimately they’re just business opportunists who know how to turn in the blarney. I’ve specifically got an issue with Donald’s ‘best interests of the club not myself’ narrative. That said they could be far worse, they’re decent enough men and soon they’ll be under more pressure to do better at the important bit- improving the football performances- instead of ****ing over cost savings.

Fair enough. I think the best interests thing is yet to be proven but so far I've not seen evidence that he's done anything that wasn't in line with what he's said.

I'm over in NZ so only have social media to go off tbh. Hopefully this investment is finalised and we can move on quickly.
